COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO – June 2, 2009 - Berg Companies, Inc. announced that Phil LoSchiavo, founder and managing partner of Parallax Group, LLC, has been named strategic planning adviser. LoSchiavo will consult and advise the Berg Companies military sales and marketing division. “We are lucky to have someone with Phil’s background and expertise come on board,” says Andrew Barrett, CEO of the Berg Companies. “Phil will be a perfect fit for us, as we rapidly grow our business into the military market.”
LoSchiavo has worked over twenty five years in the Department of the Army as a military officer. His career included varying positions within the Army, from troop units to staff, including two overseas assignments in Germany. LoSchiavo has also spent time at the Pentagon as a staff officer, and more recently assignments as Project Manager, Navigation Systems, in El Segundo, California and previously, the Product Manager Petroleum and Water Systems (PAWS) with TACOM in Warren, Michigan. After retiring from the US Armed forces, Phil started Parallax Group, LLC, a consulting firm based out of Florida. Phil’s education includes a BA in History, a MS in Contracts and Acquisition Management and a MBA in Business Administration, he is also a Certified Acquisition Professional.
